Super Eagles goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye said a heartfelt goodbye to Hapoel Jerusalem after six seasons with the Israeli club.

Though offered a two-year contract extension, Adeleye chose to depart upon his current deal’s expiration on June 30th.

“A big thank you to Hapoel Jerusalem for your support and motivation, good 6 years with the club weren’t a waste thanks for encouraging me to keep striving for the best you’ll Forever remain in my heart.”

In a social media post on “X”, Adeleye expressed gratitude for the club’s support throughout his time in Jerusalem.

Reports suggest the 24-year-old will join Cypriot side Enosis Neon Paralimni (ENP) on a free transfer. While ENP topped the Cypriot League last season, they faltered in the championship playoffs.

Adeleye faces competition for the starting role following ENP’s recent signing of goalkeeper Panagiotis Panagiotis, who returns for his second stint with the club.
