The high-flying Phoenix Suns, led by a star-studded cast of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal, were surprisingly swept by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
Despite boasting a seemingly superior roster on paper, the Suns fell 4-0 to a hungry Timberwolves squad fueled by the brilliance of Anthony Edwards.

Edwards averaged a blistering performance throughout the series, culminating in a 40-point, 9-rebound, and 6-assist explosion in the Wolves’ series-clinching 122-116 victory in Game 4.
Adding a layer of intrigue, former Wolves guard Josh Okogie saw 14 minutes of action for the Suns in Game 4, contributing 4 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. Drafted by Minnesota in 2018, Okogie played his first four seasons with the Timberwolves before joining Phoenix in 2022.
This early exit marks another disappointing postseason finish for the Suns. Last year, their championship aspirations were dashed in the Western Conference semifinals by the eventual champions, the Denver Nuggets.
