Gift Orban’s outstanding start to the Turkish Super Lig season has sparked a fresh transfer suggestion involving Galatasaray and Victor Osimhen, Bold Sports reports.
Turkish commentator Oğuz Altay believes Galatasaray should consider bringing the Nigerian striker from Amedspor. He sees Orban as a possible attacking partner for Osimhen. The suggestion comes as Galatasaray look for more goals without their main striker available.
Orban has already made a major impact at Amedspor. The Nigerian has scored seven goals and supplied two assists in six league appearances. He also scored and assisted in Amedspor’s 3-2 victory over Beşiktaş on September 20. That performance took his tally to nine goal contributions in six matches.
Altay wants Galatasaray to move for Orban
Altay believes Galatasaray would benefit from pairing Orban with Osimhen.
He also acknowledged the quality of Deniz Gül. However, the commentator sees room for Orban in Galatasaray’s attack.

“Let me tell you something. You don’t need to look too hard. Get Orban from Amedspor as a second striker alongside Osimhen. I really like Deniz Gül, that’s a separate matter, but you’ll create an incredible game.”
The proposal comes after Orban’s rapid rise at Amedspor. He joined the Turkish club from Hoffenheim on a season-long loan in July. The agreement includes a purchase option, with conditions that can make the transfer permanent.
Nigerian striker impresses with varied finishing
Altay also highlighted the different qualities Orban brings in attack.
“He’s very fast, he dribbles past defenders, he scores all kinds of goals. He scores with volleys, headers, long-range shots, placed shots, and he helps with team defense. He’s a good player,”
Orban’s recent numbers support the praise. He scored three times against Başakşehir before adding two against Kasımpaşa. He then found the net against Beşiktaş and provided an assist in the same match.
Orban’s Amedspor form puts him in the spotlight
The 24-year-old arrived in Turkey after spending the previous season on loan at Hellas Verona. He scored seven goals in Serie A before returning to Hoffenheim.
His current run has quickly changed the conversation around his future.
Galatasaray now have a clear example of what Orban can offer in the Turkish top flight. Altay’s proposal is to place those qualities alongside Osimhen in the same attack.
For now, Orban remains an Amedspor player on loan from Hoffenheim. His next performances will continue to shape the attention around his future in Turkey.
