‎The club also highlighted its commitment to helping the youngster settle in France.

‎”An ideal human and infrastructural framework for a first experience on the European continent, which will facilitate its adaptation and allow it to continue its development in the best conditions.”

‎Before completing the move, Itotomi spent several days training with Reims before taking part in matches against Paris Saint-Germain’s U19 side and Eintracht Frankfurt.

‎Reims also welcomed the defender with the message:

‎”Welcome to the City of Coronations, Godwin!”

‎The Nigerian youngster could return to Africa in September 2026 if Reims Révélations participate in their first major tournament on the continent.
