Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has released a strong starting lineup for Nigeria’s international friendly clash against Iran in Antalya, Turkey, set to kickoff by 2:00pm on Friday.
In goal, Udinese shot stopper Maduka Okoye makes his return between the sticks, while the defensive line features Bright Osayi-Samuel, Igoh Ogbu, Semi Ajayi, and Bruno Onyemaechi, a combination expected to provide both solidity and balance at the back.
Captain Wilfred Ndidi will anchor the midfield, partnering with Alex Iwobi, whose creativity and impressive performances have been key for both club and country in recent months.

In attack, Nigeria boasts an exciting frontline, with Samuel Chukwueze and Moses Simon providing width from the wings. Ademola Lookman, currently in impressive form for club side Atletico Madrid, will also feature in the attacking setup, while Akor Adams leads the line as the team’s main striker.
On the bench, Chelle has named a mix of experienced internationals and emerging talents, including Adebayo Adeleye, Francis Uzoho, Zaidu Sanusi, Frank Onyeka, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Chidera Ejuke, and Raphael Onyedika.
Also included among the substitutes are Phillip Otele, Emmanuel Fernandez, Yira Sor, and Chibuike Nwaiwu, all of whom will be hoping to earn their first caps and make an immediate impression if called upon
