D’Tigers forward Jordan Nwora scored 22 points while Ebuka Izundu added 18 as Crvena Zvezda held on for a thrilling 95–92 victory over Dubai Basketball in a pulsating EuroLeague encounter at the Belgrade Arena on Friday night.

The win marked a fourth consecutive EuroLeague victory for the Serbian giants, following earlier successes against Milan, Monaco and Virtus Bologna, as they continue their push for a playoff spot at the end of the regular season.

Building on his standout performance in Monday’s ABA League win over Vienna, where he poured in 23 points, Nwora once again led the scoring with 22 points, four rebounds and one assist in 28 minutes on the court. Izundu was equally impressive at both ends, registering 18 points and eight rebounds in just 17 minutes of action.

Guards Jared Butler and Codi Miller-McIntyre chipped in with 16 points apiece, while Nwora’s compatriot Chima Moneke contributed eight points. Semi Ojeleye added two points in the hard-fought win.

For the visitors, centre Mfiondu Kabengele delivered a game-high 24 points, alongside eight rebounds, five assists and three steals in 23 minutes, but his efforts were not enough to spark a comeback. Dwayne Bacon finished with 19 points, McKinley Wright IV added 16, and Aleksa Avramović scored 11.

Crvena Zvezda flew out of the blocks, dominating the first quarter 30–14, before Dubai responded strongly in the second, outscoring the hosts 27–10. The Serbian side edged the third quarter 24–20, and although Dubai won the final period 31–27, they were unable to overturn the deficit or force overtime, eventually falling by three points.

The victory lifts Crvena Zvezda to ninth on the standings, just one spot outside the playoff places with nine games remaining, while Dubai drop to 13th.
