Head Coach Bankole Olowookere has selected 21 players to fly Nigeria’s flag at this year’s FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup finals in Morocco, as the Flamingos look to improve on their historic bronze medal finish at the 2022 edition in India.

The Nigerian contingent already arrived in Casablanca on Wednesday to begin the final phase of preparations for the tournament, which runs from October 17 to November 8.

Olowookere, who masterminded Nigeria’s best-ever finish at the competition three years ago, expressed confidence that the Class of 2025 has what it takes to go even further this time.
