English Premier League side Fulham remain interested in signing Nigerian forward Philip Otele from Swiss club Basel as they look to strengthen their squad before the summer transfer window closes on Monday.
According to GiveMeSport and TalkSPORT broadcaster Ben Jacobs, Otele has been on Fulham’s radar this summer as they aim to add more firepower to their attack.
The 26-year-old versatile forward has started the 2025/26 season impressively, scoring three goals and providing two assists in six matches. His ability to operate on both wings and as a central striker makes him an attractive option for Fulham.

Club scouts have reportedly traveled to Copenhagen to watch the Nigerian in Basel’s UEFA Champions League playoff second leg against the Danish side on Wednesday (today) before making a final decision.
“Fulham are still active on Philip Otele as they look to bring in two new attackers before the window shuts,” Jacobs reported.
“Fulham are expected to watch Otele again as Basel play Copenhagen on Wednesday before deciding whether to place a bid.”
Reports suggest Otele could be available for under €15 million. Fulham are also pursuing Brazilian midfielder Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk as part of their late transfer push.
