Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal have lined up a medical for Nigerian international Victor Osimhen as they work to secure a deal with Napoli by the end of the week.

Osimhen’s future remains one of the most discussed topics of the summer transfer window, with multiple clubs vying for his signature. Al Hilal have intensified their efforts following the approval of the move by newly appointed manager Simone Inzaghi.

Galatasaray, where Osimhen spent last season on loan, are also eager to retain the striker on a permanent basis. The Turkish champions are reportedly offering a lucrative €15 million annual salary after a standout campaign in which Osimhen helped them clinch both the Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup.

Interest in the Super Eagles forward extends beyond Turkey and Saudi Arabia. A Serie A club, whose identity remains undisclosed, along with several Premier League teams — most notably Manchester United — are monitoring the situation closely.

Reports from Spain also suggest Real Madrid may enter the race, with new head coach Xabi Alonso keen on bolstering his attacking options.

Sources close to Osimhen have indicated that the 26-year-old plans to carefully consider all available options before deciding on his next move. The striker is expected to travel to Nigeria for a holiday break and is not under pressure to make an immediate decision.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Al Hilal have made Osimhen their top transfer target and are determined to sign him before the FIFA Club World Cup kicks off on June 15. The club’s executives are aiming to bring him to their recruitment hub in Paris this week to finalise negotiations.
