Jordan Nwora and Anadolu Efes will be aiming to secure a place in the EuroLeague semifinals as they face defending champions Panathinaikos in a decisive Game 5 clash.

The series is finely poised at 2-2 in this best-of-five playoff, with the winner of Game 5 advancing to the tournament’s final four.

Both teams have edged each other in narrow wins throughout the series, and Tuesday’s encounter promises to be another fiercely contested battle.

Despite a challenging playoff run that has seen his minutes reduced, Nwora will be hoping to make a significant impact if called upon.

Anadolu Efes are seeking their first Final Four appearance since winning the title in the 2021/22 season, and head coach Luca Banchi is optimistic about his team’s chances.

“Another intense game between two teams who’ve already shown the high level they’re capable of,” Banchi said during the postgame press conference

“We got here by winning our last eight regular-season games and coming back from a 2-1 deficit in the series, which speaks to the character and personality of this team.

“It’s going to be more about managing emotions and playing our best basketball than just strategy. In the end, the better team will come out on top.”

Panathinaikos, led by former Efes coach Ergin Ataman, will be counting on their home advantage at the sold-out OAKA Basketball Arena. The 18,300-capacity venue sold out within just four hours of ticket sales going live—underscoring the magnitude of the matchup.
