D’Tigers star Jordan Nwora and compatriot Daniel Oturu will aim to lead Anadolu Efes to a crucial win as they face defending champions Panathinaikos in Game 3 of the EuroLeague quarterfinals later today at the Basketball Development Centre in Turkey.

With the best-of-five series tied at 1-1, both sides are looking to seize the advantage and move within one win of a semifinal berth. Panathinaikos claimed a narrow 87-83 victory in Game 1, but Anadolu Efes bounced back with a tight 79-76 win in Game 2 last Thursday.

Tonight’s clash promises high-intensity action as both teams battle to go 2-1 up in the series. Anadolu Efes will be counting on home support to tip the scales in their favor.

Nwora has been averaging 8.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game in the EuroLeague, while Oturu contributes 8.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game, providing solid depth for the Turkish side.

However, Panathinaikos won’t go down without a fight. Their star-studded roster includes several former NBA players such as Kendrick Nunn, Juancho Hernangómez, Ömer Yurtseven, Jerian Grant, Lorenzo Brown, and Cedi Osman, making them a formidable challenge on any court.

Speaking ahead of the game, Oturu emphasized that regardless of the experience Panathinaikos brings to the court, Anadolu Efes must stay focused, play hard, and stick to their game plan.

“It will be a very exciting atmosphere. It will be an opportunity for us to go out on the court and compete. We have to concentrate very well to play our own basketball. Feeling the support of our fans behind us will make us feel good.”
