The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) will give out free jerseys to the first 500 people to get match tickets for the Super Eagles clash against Zimbabwe’s Warriors on Tuesday.
According to reports, match tickets will be available for sale on match day at the stadium, as well as Radio and Television stations within Uyo, with the VIP tickets going for 3000 Naira and the regular seats for the sum of 1000 Naira each.
The crucial game is scheduled to hold at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, with Nigeria seeking to build on their impressive 2-0 win over Rwanda’s Amavubi in Kigali, which revitalized their 2026 World Cup qualification hopes.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe’s Warriors coming off a 2-2 draw with Benin Republic, are aiming to secure their first World Cup qualifying win, motivated by a $150,000 incentive from their government if they can pull off an upset against Nigeria.

A victory for Nigeria would bring them to nine points, possibly propelling them to second or third place with four matches remaining. However, they’ll be relying on Benin Republic to hold or defeat current group leaders South Africa, who have accrued 10 points.
The Super Eagles and Zimbabwe’s Warriors will wrap up their preparations with final training sessions scheduled this evening, aiming to perfect their strategies while minimizing the risk of injuries that could impact their chances of winning.
