Super Eagles defender Shehu Abdullahi has praised Kano Pillars’ performance following their thrilling 4-3 away victory over Enugu Rangers on Wednesday.
Expressing his delight at being back with the club, Abdullahi took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to celebrate the team’s display.
“Nothing beats the feeling of being back and I’m excited to be back with @pillarsfc,” Abdullahi posted.
“What a team performance at Rangers today. This is what Pillars is about and this is what we will continue to push for. This is for you #SaiMasuGida 🟩.”
The dramatic win, which featured goals from Ahmed Musa, Rabiu Ali, and Zikilifu Rabiu, propelled Pillars to fourth place in the league table. Despite a late surge from Rangers, Kano Pillars secured their first away win of the season.
Bold Sports had earlier reported that both Eagles captain Musa and Abdullahi rejoined their home side after stints abroad with Musa netting a brace on his debut against Sunshine Stars.
