Despite the early setback, the champions quickly reasserted their dominance, grabbing three goals in 12 minutes to turn the game around. Amir Rrahmani scored the equalizer in the 29th minute followed by two quick goals from star man Victor Osimhen in the 31st and 41st minute.

The Nigeria international completed his hat-trick two minutes after the restart while Kvaratskhelia was on target in the 51st minute, assisted by Osimhen, and the 75th minute to give the champions a confidence-boosting victory away from home.

Despite the huge victory, the champions are still ninth on the log but they are now eight points off the top four. Sassuolo however, dropped into the relegation zone.

The goals take Osimhen’s tally to 11 in 15 Serie A games and 18 goals in 26 games across all competitions.
