Taekwondo: Elizabeth Anyanacho qualifies for Paris 2024 Olympics

Nigerian taekwondo star Elizabeth Anyanacho has secured her spot in the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympic Games. 

Elizabeth Anyanacho qualified for the Olympics during the 2024 African Taekwondo Championships in Dakar, Senegal. 

Competing in the women’s -67kg category, Anyanacho’s exceptional skill and determination propelled her to the final, where she clinched her qualification for the prestigious global event.

Anyanacho made her maiden appearance at the Olympics in 2020 but had a forgettable experience. She lost her only fight of the competition to Turkey’s Nur Tatar Askari 12-7.

Now based in Germany, Anyanacho will be hoping to have a better outing in France later in the year.
