Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen could be on his way to Serie A giants Juventus, with top Italian publications reporting that the Nigerian forward has given his word to the Turin-based club.
Osimhen is currently enjoying a stellar loan spell at Galatasaray, where he is spearheading the Turkish giants’ campaign for a domestic double. His outstanding performances have reignited interest from top European clubs, reaffirming his status as one of the most sought-after strikers in world football.
Last season, a transfer failed to materialize as interested clubs were unwilling to meet Napoli’s €110 million asking price. However, Napoli have now reduced their valuation to €80 million, with expectations that it may drop further to around €75 million.

Today, respected Tuttosport journalist Raffaele Auriemma reported a breakthrough in talks between Juventus and Osimhen.
“Strong acceleration by Juventus for the purchase of Osimhen from Napoli. There is an agreement between Cristiano Giuntoli and the Nigerian. Aurelio De Laurentiis is expected to give his approval at the end of the season to avoid losing him for free next year,” Auriemma wrote on X.
Giuntoli, now Juventus sporting director, is well-acquainted with Osimhen, having overseen his transfer from LOSC Lille to Napoli in the summer of 2020.
However, a potential transfer may be complicated by the strained relationship between Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis and Juventus. Tensions have lingered since the controversial transfer of Gonzalo Higuaín from Napoli to Juventus in 2016—a move that left a lasting sour note in Naples.

Further fueling speculation, Giuntoli recently hinted that current Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović may be on his way out of the club.
“We have a very good rapport with the player and his agent. We will sit down at the end of the season to discuss and evaluate whether to continue together or to take separate paths,” Giuntoli stated.
Given Osimhen’s impact at Napoli—most notably leading the club to their first Serie A title in 33 years—it is unlikely the club will be eager to strengthen a direct rival. Adding to their hesitation is the striker’s continued success in Turkey, where he is again proving to be a game-changer.
