Victor Osimhen is back in the transfer spotlight — this time with Spanish giants Real Madrid reportedly considering the Super Eagles star.

According to Fichajes, Osimhen has emerged as a serious candidate to lead the line for Madrid under new manager Xabi Alonso, who is said to be keen on signing a world-class striker ahead of next season.

Osimhen, who is officially on Napoli’s books, spent the past season on loan at Galatasaray, where he scored 37 goals across all competitions. That run of form has put him firmly on the radar of top European clubs — and Real Madrid could be the next step in his career.

The Super Eagles striker is linked with many clubs and was reported to have rejected a deal from Saudi Arabia side Al Hilal, why Galatasaray are also keen on retaining him.

The Spanish outlet reports that Alonso is a huge admirer of Osimhen’s style — praising his strength, movement, and clinical finishing. The 26-year-old’s all-round attacking ability is believed to match the profile Madrid are seeking as they plan for a new era.

Although Osimhen remains under contract with Napoli, his standout performances in Turkey have only boosted his market value, and any potential move will require a sizeable transfer fee. Napoli are expected to demand a high price, knowing that interest in the Nigerian international is strong across Europe.

Real Madrid, however, see Osimhen as a striker capable of not just complementing their current attack, but potentially becoming the face of it. With Alonso taking charge this summer, the Nigerian could be one of the marquee signings to kick off his tenure at the Santiago Bernabéu.
