Ex-Chelsea striker Tore Andre Flo has expressed doubts about Victor Osimhen’s “attitude and personality,” despite the Nigerian forward’s impressive goal-scoring record, as speculation continues about a potential move to Stamford Bridge.

Victor Osimhen has been in sensational form since joining Galatasaray on loan, netting 31 goals and providing seven assists in 36 matches. Despite his standout performances, his future is still unclear, with reports suggesting he would leave the club at the end of the season.

Reports indicate that a move for Osimhen may be challenging due to his wage demands, with a move likely only feasible if he agrees to lower them. Recently, there are growing concerns among potential suitors about the Nigerian striker’s attitude.

Speaking with Goldenpanda, Tore Andre Flo expressed his preference for his former club to stick with Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson instead of pursuing a move for Victor Osimhen.

“It’s so difficult to be sure on anything, because we know Osimhen has a phenomenal scoring record, but he hasn’t played in the Premier League. If I was Chelsea or Enzo Maresca, I would stick with Jackson at the moment,” he said.

“Osimhen, I know he’s a super striker, but there’s been a lot of question as to why he’s not at his original club. What happened there? Why did he leave Napoli? I don’t really know. I really want the players Chelsea already have to really, really work for the team, be good team players.”

“That’s what Chelsea need. Someone who’s really working for the team. Rightly or wrongly, there are some question marks about Osimhen’s attitude and personality. That would be a worry for me.”

Despite questions surrounding his attitude, many of Osimhen’s Galatasaray teammates have praised him as a valuable team player, with experienced Spanish striker Alvaro Morata recently describing him as a “great person.”

“He is one of the best centre-forwards in the world. It is an incredible pleasure for me to play alongside him and with my other teammates. We are working hard, and hopefully, we will celebrate winning the league title together,” Morata said after scoring a brace in Galatasaray’s 5-1 demolition of Eyüpsor in their Turkish Super Lig clash.
