Nigeria forward, Peter Olayinka, celebrated his 100th league appearance for Slavia Prague with a goal and an assist in their 4-1 win away at Bohemians in the Czech First League on Sunday.
Roman Kvet had given the hosts the lead in the second minute but Olayinka equalised one minute later. Vaclav Jurecka gave the visitors the lead in the 30th minute from the penalty spot while Olayinka provided the assist for Ondrej Lingr to make it 3-1 in the 76th minute. Lingr three minutes later turned provider for Olayinka who completed his brace in the 79th minute to put the game beyond their hosts.
The brace against the Bohemians takes Olayinka’s league goals tally to four in eight appearances this season while he he’s also added one assist. In all competitions, his goals tally stands at nine in 19 appearances.
Olayinka who in 100 league appearances has scored 26 goals and provided 14 assists was congratulated by the club on their social media platforms, “Peter Olayinka played his hundredth league match in a stitched suit and celebrated the anniversary with two goals and assists! Huge congrats, Olie! Way to go.”
The 26-year-old who is currently Slavia Prague’s second most valuable player at €6.5m joined the Czech side from Belgian club KAA Gent for €3.2m in the summer of 2018.
Olayinka’s compatriot, Yisa Sor was a second half substitute coming on for David Doudera in the 71st minute of the encounter.
