Nigeria Premier Football League newcomers Ikorodu City FC have bolstered their squad ahead of the 2024/25 season with the signing of former Sporting Lagos attacking midfielder Ayemwenre Rivio.
The club officially announced the signing of the talented midfielder on Tuesday, marking Rivio as their first high-profile addition ahead of what promises to be a challenging campaign in the top flight.
Rivio was a key player for Sporting Lagos who got relegated from the topflight last season. The midfielder played a total of 24 games for the ‘Noisy Lagosians’ and found the back of the net four times.
