Nigerian midfielder Frank Onyeka became Brentford’s fastest player for the 2023/24 season during their match against Arsenal on March 9, 2024.

While chasing down Arsenal’s Leandro Trossard on a counter-attack, Onyeka hit an impressive 36.11km/h, showcasing his defensive hustle and helping his team thwart the attack.

This remarkable feat highlights Onyeka’s valuable contribution to Brentford throughout the season. The 26-year-old featured in 26 matches, scoring once and providing two assists.

While Onyeka may not be among the Premier League’s top 10 fastest players overall, his performance against Arsenal solidified his place as Brentford’s speed king.
