Nigerian midfielder Chrisantus Uche has been included in the official La Liga team of the week for Matchday 37 after his impressive performance in Getafe’s 2-1 win over Mallorca.
Chrisantus Uche, 22, was unstoppable against Mallorca, scoring his fourth league goal of the season and what proved to be the winner in the 65th minute after Mauro Arambarri had opened the scoring earlier in the second half.
Asides from his goal, Chrisantus Uche also worked tirelessly off the ball, completing the second most tackles in the game (3) while making four recoveries, as well as winning five out of seven ground duels and six out of eight aerial duels.
His performance played a key role in Getafe claiming the vital win, a result that secured their top-flight status as they are no longer in danger of getting relegated.
