Beyond Limits captain Ogunniyi agrees deal to join AC Horsens

Highly-rated Beyond Limits captain Oluseyi Ogunniyi has agreed a deal to join Danish first division side AC Horsens after the conclusion of the current Nigerian League season.

The versatile fullback who rose through the ranks from the under-15 team, had previously impressed in the NPFL U-15 promises, earning a spot in the competition’s team of the season due to his standout performances.

Ogunniyi’s impressive rise led to his promotion to the U-17 team, where he participated in the TCC League against several teams from Ogun State and Lagos State, as well as international tournaments including the Gothia Cup and Viareggio Cup.

The 18-year-old has been a key player for Beyond Limits over the past two seasons, earning the captaincy at the beginning of the season, and lifting his first trophy as team captain recently, winning the Creative Championship Cup final with a 3-0 victory over Dino Sporting Club in Ijebu Ode.

Ogunniyi joins a host of other top talents who have moved to Europe from Beyond Limits, including Kparobo Ariehi who joined Lillestrøm and Nweke Valentine who signed for 14-time Polish champions Górnik Zabrze.

The transfer marks another significant milestone for Beyond Limits who continue to establish themselves as one of the country’s top academies, fulfilling its mission of empowering young footballers to achieve their dreams.
