Anthony Ujah joins Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv

Super Eagles striker Anthony Ujah has signed with Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv as a free agent, following the expiration of his contract with Eintracht Braunschweig in the German Bundesliga 2.

Anthony Ujah spent over 10 years playing for top German clubs like Mainz 05, FC Köln, Werder Bremen, Union Berlin, and Eintracht Braunschweig. However, he parted ways with Eintracht Braunschweig after his contract ended.

Botev Plovdiv’s Sporting Director, Arthur Platek, is thrilled to have Ujah on board, citing his wealth of experience as a significant asset to the team. With seven caps for the Super Eagles under his belt, Ujah is ready to bring his skills and expertise to Bulgaria!

During his time in Germany, Ujaf scored 30 goals in 136 Bundesliga games and was on target 37 times in 114 Bundesliga 11 games and seven goals in the DFB Kopal.
