Liverpool are considering Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen as one of several potential options to spearhead their attack next season, as they aim to retain their Premier League title.

Liverpool clinched their 20th Premier League title with a commanding 5-1 victory over Tottenham at Anfield. However, their triumph was clouded by the announcement that star right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold will be leaving the club, while goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher and striker Darwin Nunez are also expected to be sold.

Due to the anticipated departures, Liverpool are expected to spend heavily this summer, targeting reinforcements at left-back, centre-back, and striking positions.

According to talkSPORT, Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Sesko, and Viktor Gyokeres are the major candidates to lead Liverpool’s attack next season, as the club looks to ease the goalscoring burden on Mohamed Salah, who has scored 33 goals across all competitions this campaign.

Victor Osimhen has been outstanding for Galatasaray this season, setting a new personal record with 33 goals as he leads the Turkish giants in their quest to reclaim the Super Lig title and secure the Turkish Cup.

With the Nigerian striker set to leave Napoli, he has drawn interest from several top clubs across England and Europe, including Chelsea and Manchester United, while a move to Saudi Arabia also remains a possibility.
