Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle, has unveiled his starting lineup for today’s Unity Cup semifinal clash against Ghana’s Black Stars at the GTech Community Stadium, Brentford, London.

Notably, Rangers striker and highest goalscorer in the Scottish Premiership, Cyriel Dessers, is set to make his first start for the Super Eagles since netting a goal in a 2-0 friendly victory over Ghana in 2024.

Dessers is joined in attack by AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze and Sikiru Alimi who plays for Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Remo Stars.

Wilfred Ndidi is included in the midfield alongside Papa Daniel Mustapha and Frank Onyeka while the backline features Semi Ajayi, Igoh Ogbu, Sodiq Ismail and Bruno Onyemaechi. Stanley Nwabali remains in goal for the Super Eagles.

Nigeria will be seeking to defeat Ghana’s Black Stars not only for bragging rights but also to secure a spot in the final where they will potentially face Jamaica who qualified for the final by edging Trinidad and Tobago in a thrilling 3-2 victory on Tuesday.
