Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has officially completed a move to English Women’s Super League side Brighton and Hove Albion, Bold Sports reports.
The 2024 UNFP Division 1 Féminine Goalkeeper of the Season is set to officially join Brighton when her current contract with Paris FC comes to an end on July 1.
The English club confirmed her signing via their official social media platforms on Friday, stating: “We are delighted to announce the signing of Nigerian goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, subject to the usual regulatory process.”
Reacting to the move, Women’s first team head coach Dario Vidosic said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Chiamaka to the club. She’s a talented and commanding goalkeeper who will bring consistency and confidence to our defensive line.
“She has competed at the highest level, with valuable experience in a variety of cup competitions including the Champions League. We’re confident she’ll add both depth and drive to a squad already full of ambition as we continue to build for next season.”
Nnadozie joined Paris FC in 2020 from Nigerian side Rivers Angels on an 18-month deal. She quickly made her mark on the European stage, notably in the 2022–23 UEFA Women’s Champions League where her penalty-saving heroics knocked Arsenal out of the competition. That same season, she played a crucial role in guiding Paris FC to a third-place finish in France’s top flight.
The Nigerian shot-stopper made history in 2024 as the first African player to win the D1 Arkema Goalkeeper of the Season award. She also claimed the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year title for the second consecutive year.

Nnadozie further etched her name in the club’s history books during the 2024–25 season by pulling off two vital saves in a dramatic penalty shootout against Paris Saint-Germain, a performance that helped Paris FC secure their first Coupe de France trophy in 20 years.
With her club future now settled, Nnadozie will turn her attention to international duty, where she aims to help Nigeria clinch a record-extending 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in Morocco.
