Super Eagles forward Chidera Ejuke is reportedly on the verge of joining Spanish La Liga club Sevilla on a free transfer.
Ejuke’s contract with his previous club, CSKA Moscow, expired in June, allowing him to leave for free.
He spent the last two seasons on loan spells at Hertha Berlin and Royal Antwerp after FIFA relaxed regulations for foreign players based in Russia due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, a verbal agreement is already in place between Ejuke and Sevilla. The official signing, medical check-up, and finalization of the contract are expected to happen this week.

Ejuke impressed last season with Royal Antwerp, scoring five goals and providing six assists in all competitions.
