Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika is reportedly attracting interest from top European clubs, including Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, Porto, and AC Milan.
The 23-year-old is hot-in-demand as reported by football journalist Mike McGrath who revealed that several teams have been scouting Onyedika with the intention of acquiring him from Club Brugge.
However, according to Belgian sources, Club Brugge are adamant about retaining Onyedika during the January transfer window, especially given their potential to remain in the Champions League.
Raphael Onyedika will have a massive opportunity to showcase his skills to suitors when Club Brugge take on Manchester City in a crucial Champions League match where any result but a win would mean City does not qualify for the Round of 16.
Ahead of the crucial Champions League clash, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola acknowledged Raphael Onyedika’s key role at Club Brugge: “The patterns defensively are really good, especially with the holding midfielder and creating overlaps in certain positions,” the experienced gaffer said.

Raphael Onyedika’s contributions have been instrumental in Club Brugge’s impressive 20-match unbeaten run, with the midfielder appearing in 17 of those outings, showcasing his importance to the team’s remarkable streak.
In addition to his defensive duties, Onyedika has also demonstrated his attacking prowess, contributing to two goals in the league and providing a crucial assist in the Champions League win against Sturm Graz.
Although a January transfer is uncertain, Club Brugge may struggle to retain Onyedika’s services beyond the current season, as interested clubs are likely to renew their pursuit when the summer transfer window opens.
