Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen scored twice to help Galatasaray claim a dominant 4-1 victory over Sivasspor at RAMS Park on Saturday, moving them closer to clinching the Turkish Super Lig title.
Galatasaray have been on a remarkable run in recent weeks, winning five consecutive matches that have propelled them to the cup final and allowed them to preserve a five-point lead over second-placed Fenerbahçe, who are still chasing their first Super Lig title since 2014.
The league leaders quickly picked up where they left off against Sivasspor, with Lucas Torreira opening the scoring in the ninth minute, followed by goals from Victor Osimhen and Baris Alper Yilmaz, handing Galatasaray a commanding three-goal lead.

Victor Osimhen scored his second of the game and his 32nd of the season across all competitions in the 31st minute, effectively sealing Galatasaray’s dominant win. Although Rey Manaj quickly pulled one back for Sivasspor, they couldn’t stop the league leaders from claiming all three vital points in style.
The win means that Galatasaray are now up to 83 points, eight ahead of second-placed Fenerbahçe who must now defeat Besiktas tomorrow to pile the pressure on the league leaders with four games left to play.
Galatasaray will look to maintain their strong momentum and move a step closer to securing the title when they take on Trabzonspor in their next league clash on Saturday, May 10. Meanwhile, Sivasspor will aim to bounce back from their defeat when they host Bodrum FK on Sunday, May 11.
