Super Eagles midfielder Ibrahim Olawoyin was on target for Rizespor in their 2-0 victory over Gaziantep, boosting their chances of survival in the Turkish Super Lig.
Rizespor came into the game needing all three points to keep their hopes of remaining in the top flight alive as they hosted Gaziantep at the Çaykur Didi Stadium.
The match remained a tense and cagey affair throughout the first half, but the tempo picked up after the break. Ali Sowe broke the deadlock in the 77th minute, before the Nigerian sealed the win with a stoppage-time strike in the 94th minute, extinguishing any hopes of a late equaliser from the visitors.

The goal — Olawoyin’s fourth of the season — ended his run of five consecutive matches without finding the net.
Rizespor now sit 14th on the Turkish Super Lig table, six points clear of the relegation zone. Olawoyin has contributed four goals and six assists in 28 league appearances this season.
