The second half continued in the same fashion until a breakthrough arrived in an unexpected yet stunning manner as highly-rated young talent Olasubomi Ogundele scored from a corner kick, giving Remo Stars Ladies the late lead and securing victory for the hosts.

Olasubomi Ogundele’s goal capped off a spectacular day of football, marking a fitting end to an exciting opening round of the Super Six Premiership.
