Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali will aim for his second consecutive clean sheet when Chippa United host Orlando Pirates at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Wednesday.
Nwabali delivered a stellar performance over the weekend, making six impressive saves to secure a goalless draw against Richards Bay in a South African Premiership (PSL) clash. This effort earned him the Man of the Match award.
The Nigerian international, who also captains Chippa United, has been a key figure for the team this season, producing crucial saves to keep them competitive. So far, he has conceded 16 goals in the PSL while recording six clean sheets.

Currently sitting ninth on the league table, Chippa United will look to distance themselves further from the relegation zone with a victory over second-placed Pirates.
In the race for the most clean sheets this season, only Magesi’s Elvis Chipezeze (8) and Mamelodi Sundowns’ Ronwen Williams (7) have kept more than Nwabali in the PSL.
