Nigeria will not have representatives in the finals of the 4x100m relays, as both the men’s and women’s teams failed to advance from their respective semi-finals.

The women’s team, comprising Justina Eyakpobeyan, Favour Ofili, Rosemary Chukwuma, and Tima Godbless, had issues with baton exchanges and finished in 42.70s.
Great Britain, despite missing key athletes Dina Asher-Smith and Daryll Neita, won the semi-final in 42.03s, ahead of hosts France, who finished second in 42.13s. Jamaica secured third place with a time of 42.35s.

In the first semi-final, the USA, featuring 100m bronze medalist Melissa Jefferson, Twanisha Terry, 200m Olympic champion Gabby Thomas, and 100m silver medalist Sha’Carri Richardson, won comfortably with a time of 41.94s. Germany came second in 42.15s, while Switzerland took third place with 42.38s.
