Napoli director Giovanni Manna has confirmed that the club is working to “find a solution as quickly as possible” for striker Victor Osimhen ahead of what promises to be another busy summer transfer window.

Osimhen remains one of the most sought-after strikers in the world, attracting interest from several top European clubs eager to secure his signature this summer.

Premier League giants Manchester United, Arsenal, Newcastle, and Tottenham are all reportedly monitoring the Nigerian forward. Unlike last summer—when Napoli held firm on a €120 million buyout clause—Manna now suggests that Osimhen will be available at a more affordable price.

Currently on loan at Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray, Osimhen has been in exceptional form, making headlines with his goal-scoring prowess. The Super Eagles star has netted 20 goals and provided five assists in just 20 appearances across all competitions this season.

Despite multiple approaches from clubs looking to sign him permanently in January, Osimhen opted to honour his one-season loan spell at Galatasaray, staying until the end of the campaign as initially agreed.

This summer, however, Napoli is eager to conclude business swiftly, with interested clubs required to meet his €75 million buyout clause.

“Victor is always going to be a hotly debated topic, not just in the transfer market,” Manna told Sky Sport Italia per FootballItalia. “He is a highly sought-after player with a known release clause. We are working to find a solution as quickly as possible to avoid the delays we experienced last year.”

Manchester United are currently considered frontrunners in the race for Osimhen, and according to multiple reports from England, a deal is close to being finalized.
