The grand final of MTN CHAMPS Season 3 will now hold from May 6 to 9 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, following a change in schedule announced by the organisers.
The final leg of the championship was originally set for April 30 to May 3, but was moved to honour the passing of Mr. Pascal Dozie, MTN’s founding Chairman in Nigeria, who died on April 8, 2025.
“As a mark of honour and respect, we have rescheduled the MTN CHAMPS Grand Final,” the organisers said in a statement. “We join his family and loved ones in mourning this great loss.”
