Ademola Lookman was on the scoresheet as Atalanta cruised to a comfortable 4-0 away victory over Monza in their Serie A clash on Sunday.
The Nigerian international struck in the 47th minute with a well-taken finish to extend Atalanta’s lead to 3-0. The goal ended a six-game scoring drought in the league, marking his first goal in seven Serie A appearances.
Charles De Ketelaere starred with a brace for the visitors, opening the scoring in the 12th minute before doubling the lead in the 23rd. Substitute Marco Brescianini, who came on for Lookman in the 80th minute, sealed the emphatic win with Atalanta’s fourth goal just nine minutes later.

Lookman’s latest strike takes his tally to 14 goals in 29 Serie A appearances this season, and 19 goals in 38 matches across all competitions. He also has seven assists to his name.
With 19 goals so far, the 26-year-old has already surpassed his tally from last season, where he scored 18 goals in 45 appearances. He now sits at 26 goal contributions for the season, just two shy of the 28 he registered in the previous campaign.
Lookman’s consistent performances over the past three seasons at Atalanta have been exceptional, attracting interest from top European clubs including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal, Juventus, Liverpool, and Manchester United.
