Bayer Leverkusen have reportedly expressed interest in signing Brighton’s young striker Evan Ferguson on loan, as the German club prepares for the possible departure of Victor Boniface to Al Nassr.
20-year-old Republic of Ireland international Evan Ferguson, is in high demand, with several Premier League clubs, including West Ham, Bournemouth, and Everton, as well as Bayer Leverkusen and Marseille, seeking a loan or permanent deal.
Earlier reports indicated that Brighton had rejected a permanent offer from a Premier League club, preferring a loan deal instead. However, recent reports suggest that Brighton is now open to selling Ferguson permanently if the right offer is made.
According to Brighton correspondent Andy Naylor, the premier league side is willing to consider permanent offers for Ferguson if the terms are favorable to both the club and the player.
As such, Bayer Leverkusen will continue to monitor the situation as they seek a replacement for Boniface, who may join Al Nassr in the January transfer window.

According to reports, Saudi delegates have been in Germany since Monday, and Boniface is open to joining Al Nassr. However, a deal has yet to be finalized.
Nonetheless, Boniface has been excused from training as negotiations intensify, and there is the chance the Nigerian international won’t feature when Bayer Leverkusen play against Sparta Prague on Wednesday
