Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi will be aiming to net his 10th Premier League goal of the campaign when Fulham face off against Manchester City in Sunday’s season finale at Craven Cottage.
Alex Iwobi, 29, is enjoying his most prolific Premier League season to date, having scored nine goals so far — surpassing his previous personal best of five goals from last season.
The Nigerian midfielder netted his ninth goal of the season in Fulham’s narrow 2-1 defeat to Chelsea, having previously found the back of the net against Premier League champions Liverpool, showcasing his ability to perform in big games.
In addition to his improved goal tally, Iwobi has also contributed six Premier League assists this season, just one short of his personal best of seven, which he recorded with Everton during the 2022-23 campaign.
