…Ime Udoka targets win on the road on Sunday
Ime Udoka guided the Houston Rockets to their first NBA playoff win since 2019, leading the team to a commanding 109-94 victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 at the Toyota Center, leveling the series at 1-1.
After dropping the series opener 95-85 on Monday, the Rockets were in urgent need of a home win to avoid the threat of a sweep, and they delivered in gritty form.

Jalen Green spearheaded the Rockets’ offense with a game-high 38 points, adding six assists and four rebounds in a standout performance. Center Alperen Sengun posted an impressive double-double with 17 points, 16 rebounds, and seven assists, while Dillon Brooks chipped in with 16 points.
For the Warriors, Steph Curry recorded 20 points, nine assists, and five rebounds. Moses Moody and Quinten Post each contributed 12 points, while Jonathan Kuminga and Pat Spencer both added 11.
Golden State suffered a major setback early in the game when Jimmy Butler collided with Amen Thompson while going for a rebound and crashed hard to the floor, sustaining a pelvic contusion. The forward is set to undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury, a major concern for the Warriors moving forward.
Ime Udoka will be looking to orchestrate a win on the road for the Rockets when they travel to the Bay to face the Warriors from Sunday.
