Süper Lig champions Galatasaray have submitted an opening offer of €50 million plus an additional €5 million in add-ons to Napoli for Super Eagles Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

This follows earlier reports that Victor Osimhen has decided to continue with Galatasaray and is eager to remain in Turkey despite receiving multiple offers from other clubs.

The move is still subject to negotiations between Galatasaray and Napoli, as the Italian side are reportedly holding out for a higher fee before agreeing to part ways with the star striker. Sports journalist Buchi Laba also indicates that Napoli made efforts to keep Osimhen, but the Nigerian striker is determined to leave.

Saudi Arabian powerhouse Al Hilal are still in the race for Osimhen and are reportedly willing to trigger his €75 million release clause. However, they have yet to secure personal terms with the player, who is believed to prioritise playing for a Champions League club.

Top European clubs including Manchester United, Juventus, Arsenal, and AC Milan are also monitoring the situation closely and remain in discussions with Osimhen should a deal with Galatasaray fall through.

Osimhen previously enjoyed a stellar campaign with Galatasaray, scoring 37 goals and providing seven assists to lead the club to both the Turkish Super Lig title and the Turkish Super Cup last season.

His outstanding performances earned him both the Super Lig Golden Boot and the Goal of the Season award, further highlighting his instrumental role in Galatasaray’s memorable campaign.
