Galatasaray are pushing hard to land Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen and have significantly increased their financial offer in a bid to seal the deal. Initially offering €12 million as salary, the Istanbul giants have now tabled an improved package worth €15 million, including bonuses, sources reveal.

Despite being expected to leave Turkey earlier this week, Osimhen has remained in Istanbul, using the time to socialize with fellow Nigerians and engage in in-depth talks with Galatasaray executives. The club’s revised offer indicates a clear intent to match the forward’s valuation in a competitive market.

While Osimhen is yet to receive firm proposals from top European clubs such as Chelsea and Manchester United, he continues to hold high-paying Saudi Arabian offers in reserve. However, he has not acted on them, signaling a willingness to prioritize a move based on both financial and sporting factors.

The major hurdle in finalizing the deal now lies in the net salary structure. Galatasaray and Osimhen’s camp are still negotiating the final figures, with the striker reportedly looking for a package that reflects his market value and international stature.

Sources close to the player suggest he is open to remaining in Istanbul if the salary terms are improved, and he has already expressed a preference for Galatasaray over other potential destinations. His inner circle reportedly believes the Turkish club has made the most serious offer so far.

In a further boost for Galatasaray, Italian media report that Napoli have agreed to nearly all of the Turkish club’s payment terms, showing a rare level of cooperation that could expedite the transfer.

Club president Dursun Özbek has confirmed that the situation is expected to reach a final resolution within the next week, potentially making Osimhen one of the biggest financial moves in Galatasaray’s recent history.
