Fisayo Dele-Bashiru’s Lazio will be hoping to overturn a 2-0 deficit in the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final clash against Bødo/Glimt at the Stadio Olimpico this evening.
The Italian side lost 2-0 to Bødo/Glimt in the first leg last week courtesy of a brace from Ulrik Saltnes who scored early in the second half before doubling his tally in the 69th minute, securing a deserved advantage ahead of their trip to Italy.
Despite being outplayed, Lazio still have the chance to turn the game around, motivated by their impressive home record in the Europa League, with 3 wins and 2 draws in 5 matches.

The Italian side will need to make history to progress to the next round, having never overturned a two-goal first leg deficit in European competitions. They have also progressed only three times in 15 attempts when trailing after the first leg.
Fisayo Dele-Bashiru featured in the first leg encounter against Bødo/Glimt, coming on for Boulaye Dia in the second half as Lazio sought to secure a crucial away win. Despite being on the losing side, the Nigerian midfielder showed flashes of brilliance, completing 77% of his passes while recording two ground duels, one tackle, and one recovery.
With two goals and two assists in 8 Europa League matches, the 24-year-old has proven to be reliable when called upon. As such, he will be hoping to contribute to Lazio’s comeback attempt against the Norwegian side.
