Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers scored the winning goal for Rangers, completing an unbelievable comeback to defeat Dundee FC 4-3 in their Scottish Premiership clash on Saturday.
After securing their first victory at Celtic Park in five years, winning the Old Firm Derby 3-2, Rangers were in confident mood going into the game against Dundee FC. However, they were stunned by the home side who scored two goals in the first 19 minutes courtesy of Simon Murray and Joe Shaughnessy.
After a shocking start, the visitors quickly regained their composure, controlling the game and limiting the hosts from scoring another goal that could seal their win. Joe Shaughnessy‘s own-goal in the 43rd minute then gave Rangers hope, making the scoreline 2-1 going into half-time.
Despite dominating possession in search of an equalizer, Scott Tiffoney scored in the 62nd minute, increasing Dundee’s advantage with time running out for Rangers. Nonetheless, the away side failed to give up, scoring two goals in five minutes to level the scoreline in dramatic fashion.

With the game heading for an entertaining draw, Cyriel Dessers proved to be the hero for Rangers, scoring with a clinical finish after a defensive error to give the visitors the win, securing all three points and sending their fans into raptures.
The comeback victory takes Rangers up to 65 points in 31 games, 13 points behind Celtic who remain on top of the table. Meanwhile, Dundee FC sit 11th with 31 points in the same number of games.
Rangers will hope to continue their impressive run of form when they host Hibernian in their next league game on Saturday, April 5 while Dundee FC will seek to bounce back in their clash against St. Mirren on the same day.
