Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has spoken out about the ongoing uncertainty surrounding his future, revealing that he is focused on enjoying his holidays and reflecting on the previous season before making a final decision on his next move.
The 26-year-old has been at the center of intense transfer speculation since the summer window opened, with several clubs vying for his signature. Notably, Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal offered Osimhen a lucrative €45 million per year deal—an offer he turned down in favour of remaining in Europe.
Despite the initial rejection, Al Hilal have not ruled themselves out of the race. Reports suggest the Saudi outfit are prepared to return with an improved offer, banking on their financial capacity to outmuscle European competition. They hope to reach an agreement in time to include the Nigerian striker in their squad for the Club World Cup knockout stages, should they progress past the group stage.
Meanwhile, Turkish champions Galatasaray are also keen to secure Osimhen’s services on a permanent basis. The striker enjoyed a successful loan stint at the club, playing a crucial role in their domestic double triumph—winning both the Turkish Super Lig and Turkish Cup.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Daddy Freeze’s YouTube channel, Victor Osimhen shared insights into his current mindset amid growing speculation over his next move: “It’s always like this when the season is over and the summer transfer negotiations start. You have a lot of these clubs wanting your service, but right now I’m focusing on my holidays, to enjoy myself so good.”
“While I’m enjoying I’m also reminiscing about the previous season that I had with Gala and then watching some clips of my goals, the mistakes that I made, the things that I did good and I think this has really helped me improve not just as a player but also as a man,” Osimhen added.
He concluded by hinting that a decision on his future is imminent: “Hopefully very soon, the decision would come from me.”
Osimhen enjoyed his most prolific campaign in the Turkish Super Lig last season, netting 26 goals and providing five assists in the league, while recording 37 goals and seven assists in 41 games across all competitions.
