Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze scored in the Spanish LaLiga for the first time in seven months on Saturday.

The 22-year-old drew Villarreal level 1-1 in their game against Barcelona Saturday evening.

The goal was his first in the league for the Yellow Submarines this season.

His last league goal was also against Barcelona on April 25, 2021.

The winger was injured in the semi-final of the Europa League last season and missed five months of action.
