The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has announced the dates, kick-off times, and venues for the group stage and knockout fixtures of the TotalEnergies CAF Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations, Egypt 2025.
The 17th edition of Africa’s youth tournament will take place from 27 April to 18 May 2025, with 13 nations competing to dominate the continent across three host cities in Cairo, Ismailia, and Suez.
The opening day of matches kicks off on Sunday, April 27 with host nation Egypt taking on Zambia by 21:00 (local time) at the Cairo International Stadium, while Sierra Leone will go up against South Africa by 18:00 in Ismailia.
Seven-time champions, Nigeria’s Flying Eagles, will kick off Group B action against Tunisia by 18:00 on May 1 at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo, with Kenya then taking on Morocco at the same venue by 21:00.

Senegal will begin their title defense with a Group C opener against the Central African Republic on May 2 in Suez by 18:00, followed by a clash between DR Congo and Ghana at the same venue by 21:00.
The top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-placed teams, will progress to the quarter-finals while the four semi-finalists will qualify to represent Africa at the FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025
