Position Overview
The Business Development Officer will play a critical role in identifying and pursuing opportunities for growth. This includes securing advertising deals, building partnerships with stakeholders, and driving new business initiatives. The ideal candidate has a passion for sports, a strong network, and a proven track record in business development or sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to secure advertising deals and sponsorships.
- Identify and establish partnerships with sports event organizers, schools, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, sponsors, and partners.
- Negotiate and close business agreements that align with Bold Sports’ goals and values.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with the company’s overall objectives.
- Stay informed about market trends, competition, and potential opportunities to refine business strategies.
- Monitor performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide actionable insights to improve outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Proven ability to secure deals and build lasting partnerships.
- Strong understanding of advertising and sponsorship strategies, particularly within the sports industry.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the Nigerian sports industry is a strong advantage.
