Olympiacos, home to Super Eagles fullback Bruno Onyemaechi, have clinched the Greek Super League title for the 48th time, securing a hard-fought 1-0 win over AEK Athens to become champions — with three games left to play.
The Greek powerhouse who had not won the league for two years have looked unstoppable this season, losing thrice and winning 19 of their 28 league matches. The 1-0 win confirmed their status as champions, taking them to 66 points, 10 points above Panathinakos who sit second.

The crucial lone goal was scored by Ayoub El Kaabi in the 55th minute, with the Moroccan striker securing his legendary status at Olympiacos after also firing them to their first-ever European title last season.
The Greek Super League title marks another remarkable milestone for Olympiacos head coach Jose Luis Mendilibar who won the Europa league with Sevilla before joining Olympiacos and leading them to the Conference League title.
Bruno Onyemaechi, who joined Olympiacos in January played the full 90 minutes and contributed immensely in defense, making three clearances, three headed clearances, two interceptions, and five recoveries.
With their league triumph sealed, Olympiacos will shift their focus to the Greek Cup final where they hope to secure the domestic double by defeating OFI Crete on Saturday, May 17.
