Chicago Bulls point guard, Ayo Dosunmu, scored a season-high 22 points in their 120-102 win over the Boston Celtics at the United Centre in Chicago on Tuesday as they ended the Celtics unbeaten run of three games.
Demar DeRozan led the Bulls in scoring with 25 points and five rebounds and five assists while Nikola Vuvecic contributed 18 points, 23 rebounds and five assists in the win. Jason Tatum led the Celtics in scoring with 26 points, eight rebounds and five assists while Jaylen Brown added 21 points, five rebounds and two assists.
Aside from the 22 points, an impressive Dosunmu also contributed six rebounds, two assists and one steal. He shot and made 9 out of 10 attempts from the field and 4-4 from beyond the arc.
Dosunmu has averaged 12.8 points per game, 5.3 rebounds per game and 2.8 assists per game so far this season.
In the absence of Lonzo Ball due to injury, Bulls coach Billy Donovan named Dosunmu as the team’s starting point guard ahead of Coby White and veteran Alex Caruso.
